Poor Charlie, he had 6 ear infections within 3 months.
Our family doctor referred him on to the ENT that Sophia had. It was pretty evident that we needed to have tubes put in as his ears just couldn't seem to drain the fluid fast enough. I hated to have my baby put under, but I also hated for him to suffer with the pain of constant ear infections.
We had to be at the hospital at 7am.
We dropped off Sophia at my sister in laws (so Thankful for Alyson Reifsnyder) at 6:30am.
He did really well and before we knew it he was coming out of recovery and was super snuggly, not the raging screaming child Sophia was when she came off the anesthesia. Funny how very different each child is.
He has been a new little man since, sleeping lots better, and much less clingy and whinny.
Getting changed and checking out his hospital bed.
He was such a good little patient, probably because he had NO idea what was happening.
He just wanted to walk the hallways and show off his cute robe and socks.
He was flirting with all the nurses.
DRUGS…need I say more
The hope is that I can stay on top of all the changes and memories being made in the Reifsnyder home

Charlie has surgery…
Charlie goes to the barber with Dad
Dad said that Charlie was so still and was really good without one little move.
I think he knew he was big stuff. Plus all the “old” men loved watching him on the
Sideline. Look how sweet he is.

Christmas Eve Reifsnyder Family
This year we hosted Christmas at our home, my sister in law and I normally switch every year and host but this year they welcomed a sweet baby girl Fiona into the world and we all know how much added that can be with 2 toddlers so we hosted this year. We missed Nana Jo this year as she had gone to be with her family up north.
We had a great night kids played I made dinner and Alyson brought over some additional yummys and pappy came over to read the traditional Night before Christmas and wear his goofy Santa hat that the kids LOVE.
Mr. Henry checking out the tree.
Dad and his sweet kiddos. Ready for some fun!
OK I cant lie I LOVE THIS ONE!! This pic depicts the kids so well!
Loretta wanted to hold Charlie too, only he is heavier then she is I think! Priceless faces.
How does my son always get dressed up, I'm sure against his will!
So thankful for such an awesome sister in law! Thank you Alyson for being so with it and being a great friend.
Pappy corralling the kids to read the book and show off his hat!
But DONT touch the hat!!
She is kind of sneaky!
Finally they all calmed down a little and sat and listened to the story.
Once the party was over we had to put out the cookies and the carrots for Santa and the reindeer our family tradition. =) Only this is Charlie's first year helping. He is WALKING already can you believe it.
Here is dad trying to explain to Sophia how Santa can come down on our hot fire we had going and that he wouldn't “burn his butt off”
Charlie was just hoping to catch a bite of the cookies! =)
Then off we went to put on our special Christmas PJ’s and go fast asleep. Except Sophia kept hearing the bells out side her window and kept waking her up!
Critter Barn “Live Nativity”
This was a first for our family going to the Critter Barn Live Nativity, however not our first visit to the Critter Barn.
Some friends from church invited us to go and so we made it a family affair.
It was cold and raining but so worth the looks on the girls and Williams happy faces. Sophia has a few little friends at church that are special friends to her, Adylen and Kailyn and Mr.William of course.
The night was filled with a very educational piece and then on to the Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus, who i might add is a baby girl according to Sophia! =)
We then headed over to a family from church who had hot chocolate and Christmas cookies for our whole clan! IT was one of the best nights of the month for me! Christ love and the giving spirit.
Ms. “cole” showing Sophia how to handle the baby chicks.
Ms.A is a pro and such a cutie
I can’t even express how much my Sophia LOVES her best friend Adylen. She talks about her and prays for her and her family every day! She has known her since birth and A has kind of been her “mentor”
Ugh, Charlie Finn melts my heart with his tenderness. He saw this baby bunny and literally leaned in to close mouth kiss his face and it was so stinking cute because he was tickled by the whiskers of course.
The girls are in awe of this Mary and baby Jesus!
This sheep was in serious need of attention he went from one person to the next it made me laugh. He finally makes it over to Sophia and stayed for a while.
Little man was getting SLEEEEEEEPPPPPYYYY
These 2 are so silly, but I wish we would have gotten a pic of all the kids? They had a riot at the house together after consuming lots of sugar cookies dancing and singing and ringing around the roses together. =) Great night
