Little “Mushkie”

I think Sophia looks like a little Russian baby in these pictures and I love it.  I love being able to buy girls clothes so cute!  She is in such a fun stage of life.  everything is new and fun.

She gets into my pots and pans all the time. She has learned how to open my kitchen drawers and take out all the zip lock bags one by one and then cleans the floor with them.

She has started to love on Zoe our dog who is actually warming up to her.  she follows her and then tries to hug her tail and kisses or shall we say LICKS her that is her kissing right now.

She laughs ALOT!

She has the best little dance she does when any music comes on and I love to watch her dance so i play music in the house often as it makes my heart smile!

She still has 12 teeth and her hair is growing long enough to put 2 pony tails in the back and I love and hate is as it shows me just how fast she is growing up!

I am blessed by her and Mark DAILY!!

Sophia loves this necklace my mom wears she ALWAYS grabs it and it goes right into her mouth.  This has been happening since she was born!

This year we hosted 17 adults and 4 children at our home for Thanksgiving.  We love to have all the family together and its a lot of work.  My mother sleeps over the night before so we can prepare as much as possible the night before.

This year we had a chance to go around the table and share with everyone what we are thankful for this year.  Of course when it got to me I started to cry, thanks to my mother whom i inherited this from.  I was thankful for the blessing that Sophia Grace is to our lives and for all of Gods provisions this last year!

Weekend with friends in Royal Oak Mi

My dear friend Sarah Beth from high school and her hubby Matt and daughter Norah had us out for a short weekend trip to Royal Oak.  Norah is only about a month or so older then Sophia so they are in line with a lot of things they like and dislike.

We had such a great time just being with them and watching the girls play.

Its always so great to be with friends who have no expectations of you.

We did get to make a trip to Trader Joes for some of my favorite hot drink mix and many other goodies.

I am pretty sure if you put Sarah and my baby pictures together at 1 year old we would look like these two peanuts.
